Hunt For Your Inner Slut...

Ok, ok...I know.  But seriously, we all have one buried deep within ourselves and this hunt may just help you bring her out...even if its just a little bit.  Now everyone has a different meaning or idea for the term "slut" or "slutty", I prefer to think of it as a sexy, no nonsense, takes what she wants kinda girl who isn't afraid to show  a little skin every now and again.  This hunt is relatively short with 42 stores in it and each butterfly you find will only take $0L from you and started on the 15th of August but runs until the 15th of September.  Do you all want to see what you can find in this hunt?  Shall I start showing the pictures?  Or would you rather I keep talking?  LOL  ok, ok, I get it....

Seems Roza has taken an unexpected vacation....Suvari just whisked her away without saying anything to anyone.  She is having a great time though and will be back soon.  But that means that I am now in charge.....not sure if you should be scared or not...blame it on the lack of coffee.  Anyways, I have been inworld and came across the Dare2Bare Hunt.  With over 77 stores plus a mini hunt, which I haven't done as of yet, this is one hunt for us ladies.  There is the odd store that has something for the guys but not too many. Mostly this is a hunt for the girls.  Lots of fashion, skins...if your looking to show a little skin then this hunt is for you.  Now this hunt ends on the 31st of August...lots of time still and each prim blue number 2 you find will cost you a grand total $0L.  Now if that doesn't give you an excuse to go out and start hunting, I don't know what will.  Let's just get to the pictures....

Well people we have reached the end of what I am going to show you.  This hunt started on the first of August and runs until the thirty first of August, so like I said earlier there is still lots of time to go out and find these items and more.  TTFN.

Pink Ribbon Fair

I realize that I have not been contributing to Roza's blog like I should be and I do not have any excuses as to why.  But this subject is very near and dear to my heart.  Breast Cancer has occurred twice in my family.  My grandmother, who went through treatment and survived.  She lived well into her 90's and I only lost her almost 3 years ago when she passed away from a broken heart.  I don't care what the doctors say, my grandfather had passed away almost a year to the day before her...it was a broken heart.  My mom found out she had breast cancer when she went in for her yearly mammogram.  She went through a biopsy and had her lymphnodes removed, only to find out that it had progressed.  She went through surgery to have one breast removed and then through the rounds of chemo therapy.  She lost her hair, had to wear a mask around the grandchildren...just in case they had colds or were sick...had severe headaches, nausea and sometime couldn't even eat.  But through all of it, she kept a positive attitude.  She always said that a positive attitude was half the battle, that no matter what they threw at you, you had to knock it out of the park.  In September of 2003, she was cleared of breast cancer.  But it was already too late...by the end of September she was having problems breathing.  By Thanksgiving, which is in October for us Canadians, she couldn't walk from her car to my front door without stopping 3 times to catch her breath.  She made more doctor's appointments, got prescriptions and took them faithfully.  She passed away in November from a massive heart attack.  My mom was a fighter and she was my inspiration.  She taught me that no matter what life throws your way, there is always a bright side.  For awhile after she died, I couldn't see it.  Then I joined The Relay for Life 24 hour Walk-a-thon.  With a group of friends from work and my sons, we gathered together with other teams and walked a track in groups of 2-3 people at a time for 24 hours.  I met up with some of my family members... who had also created teams, there were breast cancer survivors there and other families who had lost loved ones to breast cancer.  We celebrated the victories of the survivors but we also celebrated the lives of those who were no longer with us.  There was a Memorial Wall set up where you could post comments.  I had walked by it a few times before I stopped to actually read what was written there.  It was there I felt compelled to write a few lyrics of a song I had heard just shortly after my mother's funeral.  Brad Paisley When I Get Where I'm Going.  Please click the link to hear the song.  It is a beautiful song and even today after 9 years, it still brings a tear to my eye.  But it says everything I believe my mother would have said to me.

Anyways, enough of my life story....The Pink Ribbon Fair in collaboration with Relay For Life opened up on August 4th and goes until August 25th.  This charity event is for breast cancer, with all the proceeds of the exclusive Pink items going straight to the American Cancer Society.  That's right...100% of the hard earned money you spend on the exclusive items sold at this event go right to The American Cancer Society.  I went and checked it out today...I have tried to check it out every time they hold something like this in SL.  And I wanted to show you some of the stuff that I purchased.  There are tons of designers participating, so there is something for just about everybody. Now when I landed at the sim, the first thing I noticed what a lot of different bikinis surrounding me. Then I noticed a sign...Please Wear a Bikini and de-prim.  So I purchased a bikini, grabbed the free shades from Shadz and then got changed.

The I Need New Bikini is from [AMERICAN BAZAAR] and the shades are the free ones you can grab at the landing point from Shadz.

PARADISIS has Summer Days as there exclusive item.  This is a mesh item both the skirt and the shirt.  It also comes with the belt and bangles.

Now this is not the exclusive from Intrepid but I couldn't help but buy this.  "Worth Saving" is an off the shoulder mesh shirt that says, "Save the Boobies."

Gawk! has the Fight Girl Long Shirt as their exclusive.  Is it a shirt or is it a mini dress?  *wink, wink* guess it depends on your mood now doesn't it?

This Harem Outfit is from [SAKIDE].  The pants are mesh and come in lots of different sizes...I fit into a medium...YAY! me..usually I am a large or extra large...hehe.  The shirt comes in solid and also sheer.

The last outfit I purchased, at least for today, is Sport Pink from CHANDELLE.  The poses I have been using are from Purple Poses exclusive board and they are called "Nancy".  


You may have noticed that I didn't not put any links in here to the stores.  All these items were purchased at the Pink Ribbon Fair.  Please go and check this out and even if you don't want to buy anything track down one of the donation kiosks and put whatever little bit you can into it.  Every dollar helps to give someone another day.  I also didn't put down how much each item cost...simple explanation for that...I forget what I paid for each and every one of them and I'm too lazy to go to my account history to find out.  Everything was very reasonable in price and again there is something to please everyone at this event.

Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves Part 2

Morning everyone.  I am back to show you some more of the items from Red Silk Productions Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves hunt.  First some of the basics...there are 70 stores in this hunt, each crystal ball that you find will cost you 0L when you buy it and this hunt runs until August 14th.  I am not very chatty today, dealing with migraines suck, so let's just get to it....

The Gypsy Trailer which has a stove, sink and cupboards inside (there are accessories for it that you can purchase) can be found at Boathouse.  The campfire surrounded by five different rugs, each rug has a different sit animation in it, is the gift from enLightened.  The Celtic Garden Crystal Ball which has fireflies showing themselves will be yours if you find the crystal ball at Gypsy Wares.  My Prom Tunic and Black Satin Pants are the gift from BlackRose.

Incendia Outdoors has this wonderful tree with blanket and pillows.  Perfect for putting out on your land and just chilling.

Need a place to lay your head at night.  Make sure to stop by >l kinky kajira l< to find this tramp camp.

Howling Creations gives us the Boheimian Tent, which comes in a rezzer.  With the tent you get some accessories...a brown chaise lounge with a couple pose in it, a potted fern, a table with a potted ivy plant, a Demilune table and a candle grouping.  The campfire with a pig on a spit is the gift from MAHAS NEEDFUL THINGS.

~Tree House Treasures~ has this Gypsy Table as their gift.

Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves Hunt

Red Silk Productions-Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves Hunt started on the 1st of August and ends on the 14th of August.  This hunt is relatively a short one with 70 stores to search in.  You are looking for a crystal ball and when you find it, click and buy for 0L.  By now you all know that I tell you I am only going to show a few of my favorites and it ends up being 3-4 posts of stuff....lol.  Let's just get to it then....

The Fortune Teller Wagon with door that opens is the gift from (O)tentika.  My Long Skirt-Gypsy in mesh and the Crossed Top with resizer in it can be found at .Sugar & Cyanide., they also have a gift for the guys included.  Now every good gypsy needs a Fortune Teller Table, and you can find this one at *.:Mystique:.*. Each chair comes with a variety of sits and when you sit in the "tellers" spot you get the option of either the crystal ball..with its own animations,or the tarot cards..with their own animations.  The candle turns off and on with just a click as well.  The Gypsy Symbol Necklace and Earrings are the gift from Tamiron Forge.

~RVi Design~ gives us the Rustic Gypsy Wagon.  With 3 different animations in the wagon and 3 different sits at the back of the wagon, you will be ready to travel anywhere in comfort.  ~*Sweet Revolutions*~ gives us ladies Nubia in Midnight.  The headpiece comes in gold, which I am wearing, or silver.

The Gypsy Stage with beautiful lights is the gift from *ionic*.  The Tarot Card Room Divider can be found at Holme Furnishings.  The "Gemma" Ottoman has a variety of poses in it and you can find this in the crystal ball at Senzafine: Curiousities & Accoutrements.  Kastle Rock Couture has a gift for both us ladies and the guys.  Gypsy Caravan comes with two different colored tops and you get the necklace and earrings as well.

To Go Where No One Has Gone Before...

Ok so maybe there have been people there before me.  In fact I'm sure of it.  But anyways, I am back and ready to do my final installment of the Past And Future Hunt.  With 150 stores, this hunt will take a little of your time but it is well worth it.  Especially when you see some of the furniture, decorations and houses...yes I did say houses or skyboxes that you can find.  You are looking for a clock and each clock will cost you 0L.  And on with the show....

The first sky box I am showing you is the gift from BagLady Designs.  This mesh sky box comes with the chair in the cornor and the shelf on the wall.  The Low Country Cottage Sink can be found in the clock at Evil Lu Designs and it also comes with a washcloth and a blue china dish.  The three pictures, each one with a different saying,  "Believe in the Future" "Learn from the Past" and "Live in the Present" are the gift from *Finishing Touches*.  The "Heal the Past", "Live the Present", and "Dream the Future" blocks can be found at Pipper's Place and the Tranquility Table w/Colour Change is the gift from [PIXEL CREATIONS].
