Lucky Boards, Group Gifts and Midnight Mania.

There are days where you can wait forever and never see you letter come up and then there are days where you get extremely lucky and see your letter as soon as you tp into a place.  That's what happened to me when I tped into !gO! the other day.

I received a notice from Violet Mafia..did I mention before that I love this group?!...and went to check it out.  (red)Mint has 3 lucky chairs out.  Very short waiting times and there is even stuff for guys.  I happen to win one of the men's gifts.

Nothing like slipping on one of your boyfriends shirts and crawling into bed with it on or even just wandering around the house in it.  There is also a dress and another shirt on the other lucky chairs.

I remember Blayze telling me about a store but also saying, "I can't go there much.  I end up spending too much money there."  Turns out GothiCatz has lucky chairs out, so I went to check it out.  Now I didn't get lucky on the chairs............yet, but I did join the subscribomatic and grabbed two group gifts.

The Stars and Stripes bikini comes with shorts for the guys...us girls can wear them too...second gift is the tank top again for both us girls and the boys.  I love the design details LooLoo Beck uses in all her creations and can't wait to get some more Lindens so I can go shopping.  These gifts can be found right by the front door as your walking in and the Lucky Chairs are in the back of the store.

Urban Girl

Violet Mafia is an amazing group to be in.  I got a notice from them this morning about a complete avatar for free.  I had to check this out.  So I tped to the store, joined the group...cost me 1L to join and then touched the 2 boards by the group joiner.

The first folder I received had the Julia shape, eyes and skin in it.  The second folder had the dress.  I then looked around the store and found countless outfits, shoes, boots and skins all for 10L.  They also have some stuff for guys, so make sure you bring your man with you when you go.  I couldn't help myself and bought a couple outfits and a pair of boots.

Sl decided to be a pain in the butt and wouldn't let my jacket in the second picture rez.  That outfit comes with a pink sculpted vest....Look 15.  The short outfit...Look 32 comes with the shorts, bra top and plaid jacket.  My hair in these pictures are from the midnight mania board from Alice Project.

I bought the Boho Outfit in Black and White.  Grey denim capris with belt and white mid-driff top with puffy sleeves is perfect for this city girl.  Comes with the silver Narcissuss ballerina shoes. I could shop for hours in this outfit.

Man on the Moon.

Title has nothing really to do with what I'm going to show you...listening to the radio as I do this post and this is the song that is playing..."If you believe they put a man on the moon, man on the moon."  Sorry got carried away for a minute.  On to the show..First outfit I'm going to show is from DragonLady's closet.  New group gift for both us girls and your man...YAY!!! The next dress is also from DragonLady's Closet.  It's part of the NHTN hunt, just follow the trail of pineapples in the store to find this.  Again includes outfits for both you and your man.  Long flowing dress for us ladies and for the men, dress shirt with same pattern as skirt on shirt and some nice pants.  You also get flip flops to complete the outfit.

When I first started playing SL, Blayze took me to a number of places.  One of them had a poster on the wall, for us newbies to click.  In the folder you received were tons of vouchers that you just filled out with your information.  You would visit a different store for each voucher and were able to pick out skins, outfits, eyes, shoes, whatever the designer said you could get from their store (its all written in each notecard  ie. voucher,you fill out).  Once you decided what you would like to receive, and filled out the notecard, you either sent it to the designer or put it in their mailbox.  Again depended on what each designer stated in his or her notecard.  It's a fantastic way for us new folk to be able to see just what sorta direction you want to go with your avatar.  Anyways, a number of places not only gave outfits but some included gift cards in the items they gave you.  I received one from Eceltic Firefly.  I went to her store last night and had a good look around.  Lots of nice stuff and I finally decided on the Ying Yang outfit in Charcoal, clicked on the vendor and got an outfit for free just by using the gift card.

Dress comes with a system skirt and tied belt.  I tend to be a very balanced person and thought this outfit fitted my personality perfectly....and don't let Suvari tell you any different.  lol.

I happened to stop in a Baby Monkey last night to check out the lucky boards and chairs.  As soon as I rezzed, I noticed an R on one of the boards right away and clicked it.  I received the Ultimate Brigitte shoes.  These are some smezy shoes....blue with white flowers on them and the hud you receive to match up your skin is very easy to use. 

The Hud also allows you to change the nail polish and resize them.  Love the toe ring... : )

The other night when I was in and creating the post about PurpleMoon Creations, as I was switching back and forth between SL and my blog, I received a gift from Poulet's raffle ball in the store.  These sunglasses go perfectly with the free outfit I grabbed from Paris Metro.

While I was at Paris Metro, I was looking at the gorgeous dresses and found another freebie near the front of the store.  Perfect for a stroll down a beach, and then hitting a beach party.  This flowing skirt and tank top comes with some stacked bracelets.

Scratch Skins.

I received a notecard from one of my groups this morning about Scratch Skins and Shapes.  Being still just a newbie, I had never heard of them but loving how easy it is to change your look just by changing your skin...I had to go and check them out.  Seems Scratch Skins and Shapes are closing their doors.  They are selling skins for 10-25L, skintone fatpacks 150L, shapes for 10-25L plus there is a box on the table for 5L that is loaded with more skins, some shapes and make up. 

I purchased Emily-Tan04-nude for 10L.  She is very pretty in my opinion, sorta girl next door.  She comes with 2 options of cleavage or no cleavage and I have a feeling I will be wearing this skin alot.

These 2 pictures are just a couple of the skins that you get in the 5L box.  Plus like I said, there are shapes, make up and ALOT more skins.

Alma in Purple

Evening everyone.  Purple Moon Designs has a new group gift out.  This group cost 50L to join but is ssssssssssssooooooooo worth it.  The dresses are top notch with the detail, color...just everything is eye popping.  Alma in Purple is very well worth the effort of coming to the store and getting it.  Then make sure you wander around and check out all the other dresses as well as shoes, casual outfits, just about anything your little heart desires.

Poulet Koenkamp also partakes in tons of reduced day outfits and today has Mia on sale for 55L.  This dress comes in 8 different colors.  Make sure you run and get this one.

Discovering Mesh...

I was looking in the Showcase today and came across all these places that mentioned Mesh.  Seems it is the next thing up from prims or sculpties...at least that's what I think.  I went to one of the places and just had to take some pictures to show you what I've seen.  When you take the teleport you arrive in front of some caves.  One of them has a been sitting in front of it.  Board the bee and he takes you to "The Dark Zone".  This is some of what you see when you land there.

As you can tell the detail is amazing.  Heads tilt up and down, wings flutter, tentacles sway, each item looks almost real.  The artist  claudia222jewell is simply amazing.  Make sure you take some time to check this out.

Taking Over the Airwaves.

Morning ladies and gentlemen:  This is Blayze and since Roza had to step out for a little bit...actually she is sitting behind me with a pouty look on her face since I took over her computer.  She'll get over it once I get done and get her another coffee.  "Super Jumbo should do it eh Roza?"  She loves me...lol.  Anyways, wanted to show you guys some really wild, weird and amazing hair.  Works great for you cyborgs, demons, vampires (cough, couch, bloody can openers they are..kidding, kidding) pretty much anyone who loves hair is going to like these.  Here are the pics.

Busy, Busy Weekend..

Wow!  The weekend has flown by and I wasn't inworld hardly at all.  But when I logged in this morning...first I noticed that my messages had been capped...Second Life: Too many instant messages. Delivery capped. Second I had this amazing seat from the Michigan Shack Shop. It seats 3 people and comes with alot of different sitting animations.

Third, b[ELLE]issima! had a sale on her clothing...this I did pop inworld for when I seen the message in my email.  These dresses are amazing with the detailling, colouring and well just everything about them makes me smile.  The hair I'm wearing, which has been blogged in countless other blogs, is from (love) and is a group gift from the group, "Please Make This In SL".  I'm wearing it without the feather attachment and it comes with a banged or no banged option.  The hud allows you to change the hair color with just a click and saves on countless items in your inventory....and I'm beginning to see why Blayze complains all the time about hers.  LOL

I've been watching the kids in the neighborhood getting ready for school this morning as I was having my morning coffee out on the deck.  Some of them in uniforms and some not but all of them excited about going back and seeing their friends, making new ones and learning all they can.  Kinda makes me miss those days..so I think when I get some more time today I will go out and search for some "Back to School" outfits.  Until then, have a good day everyone.

A Whole New Look!!

When I was out doing the Anime Hunt, I came across a couple free avi's.  Now these are not your typical avatars...can someone say, "Anime Cartoons"? 

This first one is called "Malicious Rabbit Avatar".  It is done by ::Creative Lab..  Not sure what is so malicious about him, what with the little heart above his head.  Course that could be used to lure you into his trap of maliciousness.  Meh, I think he is cute.

A Birthday Present!!

The creator of Iren is celebrating her birthday and has a present out for all of us for free.  And I thought the birthday girl was suppose to get the presents...  The dress is a lovely rose color and fits all your curves just right.  Just a hint of sexy which is sometimes all us girls need.

Anime Hunt Part 2

Good Morning all.  Lets continue gazing upon the items from The Anime Hunt, shall we?  Rotten Deviance has 2 outfits in their hunt box.  One for the boys and one for the girls.  I also happen to find a few skulls that they has laying around, part of an instore hunt...5 skulls for the girls and 5 more skulls for the boys.  I will show those items later on.  On to the pictures...

Pixels store is, well only thing I can say is its a gamers paradise.  Found a few cute freebies here as well as the hunt item which is a Digiegg Backpack.  Dead Bunny's hunt item is a Ryoga Pig hat.

Carlotta is from Vicarious Vitae.  It has the option to mix and match with a short sleeve shirt, no sleeve shirt, red arm puffs and white arm puffs.  It comes with knee socks and ballerina shoes in both red and white.  They also included a Domo Slideshow Frame Plushy.  You can put your own pictures in the plushy and carry it around with you.

Kisetsu has two wonderful kimonos in her hunt item, again one for the girls and one for the boys.  She explains in a notecard that she is just starting out with making mens clothing but I think she has done an amazing job.  The boys kimono, Kenshin, comes with a scar tattoo.  I love the purple color on the girls, Kaoru.

Battle Angel's hunt gift is a box of hair.  Now like most girls in this game, when you mention hair our eyes go like this 0.0...lol.  This hair comes in 8 colors and I love the length and the curls.  It is swept all to one side and I just love it.

Petrichor gift includes all sorts of anime stuff.  A blush tattoo, Bleach items and Soul Taker Items.  Tattoos and walkers are included in the Bleach and Soul Taker folders.  These walkers play the theme songs I believe from each anime when you wear them and walk around SL.  There is also a tattooed tongue in the Bleach folder, very cool I must say.

Ok apparently I just pulled a retard moment and lost the landmark for the next hunt item.  Sakura and Syaoran are amazingly done outfits.  The men's outfit looks awesome on me if I do say so myself.  I am so very sorry for not being able to tell you which store they come from and if you see me inworld, feel free to pat me on the head and tell me, " You did wrong but we forgive you."  :)
